St. Peter’s Church to Hold Community Harvest Fest Saturday, October 16, 2010
St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, located at 12200 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, will hold its 4th annual Community Harvest Fest on Saturday,
Oct. 16, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be an all day affair with fun-filled activities and entertainment.
Harvest Fest will start the day with the Blessing of the Bikes at 10 a.m. and continue throughout the day. There will be a large group of crafters selling their crafts inside the air-conditioned gym as well as a big bake sale. There will be children’s games, bounce house, rock wall climbing, bungee acrobatics, gladiator jousting, inflatable slide, obstacle course, bungee run, face painting, ponies, petting zoo and more.
On stage entertainment will begin at 10:00 and continue to 4 p.m. Entertainers will include:
10:00 a.m. – St. Peters Choir
10:30 a.m. – Littlest Angelz Singers
11:00 a.m. – Puppet Show
11:30 a.m. – Cheerleaders/Wellington AllStar Jaguars
12:00 p.m. – Donna Tucci’s School of Dance Performances
1:00 p.m. – Super Tae Kwon Do Demonstrations
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Inspirational Christian Music from World Shaker Ministry featuring Nathan Taylor and Bobby Gugliuzza
The Children’s and Youth ministries will have the pumpkin patch open all day selling all sizes of pumpkins and gourds as part of their fundraising program.
The public from all the Western communities is invited to St. Peter’s Community Harvest Fest and admission is free. You won’t want to miss this annual big event so mark your calendar now for the best in Fall community entertainment on Saturday.
