WHO: Hanley Center
WHAT: Standup comedian, Mark Luncholm will perform at South Florida Improv locations to benefit the Hanley Center . Clean and sober since 1988, Lundholm is a former criminal, mental patient, homeless wino, resident in a halfway house who started poking fun at the insanity his life had become. The performance given by Lundholm is a thought-provoking journey through a man’s decline and his subsequent ascension. He details his battles with addiction in a clever manner that is sometimes shocking, often heartwarming, and unceasingly honest. Improv is the Platinum Sponsor with all ticket sales benefitting the Hanley Center .
WHEN and WHERE: December 7 at 8 p.m. at the Miami Improv
December 8 at 8 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale Improv
December 9 at 6 p.m.at the West Palm Beach Improv
WHY: Proceeds from the shows benefit the Hanley Center , celebrating its 25th year as an institution dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction. Through treatment programs for patients and families, as well as prevention programs for parents, caregivers, teachers and children, the Center has helped countless individuals and their families in Florida and nationally.
