Madison Green to Host District 19 Girls’ Golf Championship Matches Oct. 17

 

Royal Palm Beach, FL  (October 4, 2011) – Madison Green Golf Club is pleased to announce that it will be the host site for the 2011 District 19 Girls’ Golf Championship matches on Monday, October 17. The first tee time is 8:05AM.  

 

The top 3 teams from the district matches will go on to the regional qualifiers, with the hope of representing their school in the state championship.  “We are proud to host the District 19 championship matches,” said Madison Green president Todd Schoenwetter. “Having young people involved in the game is good for the sport, and it’s good for the students.” The team from Wellington High School returns as two-time defending champs.

 

Rated as one of the top 20 courses in the state of Florida, Madison Green Golf Club is a nationally acclaimed championship golf course, having hosted such prestigious events as U.S. Amateur Championship Qualifiers; Florida State Amateur Championship Qualifiers; Florida Golf Association Men’s Senior Championship; American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) championships; and other top events.
