YWCA Hosts “It’s All in the Game”
On Saturday, October 27, 2012, the YWCA of Palm Beach County will host “It’s All in the Game,” an event that includes a buffet luncheon, Chinese auction and playing your favorite board, card and dice games–Scrabble, poker or Bunco, among others. Instruction in poker will be provided by the Palm Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room. Additionally, a limited number of spots are available to play golf on the Bear Lakes Country Club course for $150 which includes lunch and games; tee time is 8:00 a.m.
Honorary Chairs are Sheriff Ric and Dorothy Bradshaw and Robert and Bernadette Shalhoub, and Co-Chairs are Theresa LePore and Michael Lally and Judi and Andy Miller. The luncheon and games will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Bear Lakes Country Club, 1901 Village Boulevard, West Palm Beach, Florida.

Get your game group together and come out for an afternoon of fun! Proceeds from your donation of $55 per person will support the programs of the YWCA including Harmony House, a secure shelter for abused women and their children; two Child Development Centers; transitional housing for women; Y-Girls, a leadership and mentoring program for girls ages 9-13; and a racial justice initiative.
