Kevin Perkins Golf Academy, Moves To Binks Forest Golf Club, Wellington, Florida
Kevin Perkins, a 35-year veteran in the golf arena recently moved his Golf Academy to Binks Forest Golf Club, in Wellington, Florida. Perkins moved his Academy from Polo West Golf Club, in Wellington, Florida.
The Kevin Perkins Golf Academy will provide world-class instructional programs at the 18-hole championship golf facility. Binks Forest, just recently purchased by local residents Jordan Paul, Tom Weber and Dung Lam (Binks Exchange Co, LLC.), is open to the public and offers the area’s premier golf and social memberships along with daily fee golf and banquet facilities. The 7,200 yard semi-private championship course is unique among Florida golf courses with its rich foliage and pine tree-lined fairways. Originally designed by Johnny Miller and Gene Bates, the course was completely renovated in 2007 under the guidance of Gene Bates. The course design provides great golf for players of all ages and skill levels, offering four sets of tee boxes.
Kevin Perkins is an author, lecturer and has hosted and produced his own television and radio shows, and became the 92nd PGA Professional to have achieved the elite “Master” PGA professional ranking. Kevin is also a PGA of America Adjunct Faculty Member.
Kevin has been influenced and worked with two teaching legends, Bob Toski and David Leadbetter, widely considered two of the greatest teachers of all time.
Perkins also served as an apprentice with the Golf Digest Instructional School where he studied under well-known teachers such as Jim Flick, Peter Kostis, John Elliot, Jr., Hank Johnson, Davis Love, Jr., and Dick Aultman.
Perkins played collegiate golf at the University of Miami.
