Volunteers Needed for Trunk or Treat Event in Wellington
For the fourth year in a row, Wellington is getting ready for Trunk or Treat, a safe, family-friendly twist on trick or treating. This time around, Wellington is in need of volunteers to make the event even better than ever! Trunk or Treat takes place in the student parking lot at Wellington Community High School on Sunday, October 28th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers are asked to decorate their cars and bring candy to pass out to local children. Participants can enjoy live music, refreshments, and a trunk decorating contest with gift cards for the winner. There will also be a bounce house, face painting, craft tables, and a costume contest for children.
To register to volunteer, contact Kim Henghold, Community Projects Manager, at (561) 791-4137 or [email protected]. This is a great volunteer opportunity for families, and high school students who drive are also encouraged to participate.
Trunk or Treat is made possible through Wellington’s partnership with Wellington Community High School’s DECA program, the Interfaith Group, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, and Walgreens.
