3rd Annual Benefit Concert, “Bach, Rock and Beethoven”

The Jupiter Academy of Music presents the 3rd Annual “Harmonies from the Heart” Concert to benefit the Grace Notes Music Foundation, as part of the Kretzer Piano “Music for the Mind” series. “Bach, Rock & Broadway” is scheduled to take place at the incomparable Harriet Himmel Theater at CityPlace on October 21, 2014 at 7:00 pm. All of the proceeds from the concert will benefit the Grace Notes Music Foundation. This concert will feature an eclectic mix of classical, rock, and Broadway music performed by students and faculty of the Jupiter Academy of Music. Highlights of the evening will be performed by the conservatory dancers of Paris Ballet in Jupiter, the Tom Floyd Jazz Quartet and young Broadway performer Skye Alyssa Friedman. This will be an unforgettable evening in a venue which is the perfect destination for world-class musical entertainment and a wide-variety of shopping and dining opportunities.
The Grace Notes Music Foundation was founded in 2009 to help perpetuate the memory of former student Makayla Joy Sitton. The foundation currently administers 12 music scholarships for children throughout the county and supports music enrichment programs in public schools and aftercare facilities. This annual benefit concert is sponsored by Kretzer Piano in Jupiter.

About Kretzer Piano: Held on the third Tuesday of every month in the Harriet Himmel Theater at CityPlace, the Music for the Mind concerts feature musical groups from Palm Beach County. Beginning in 2002, Music for the Mind has provided 9,500 young musicians the opportunity to perform while raising $440,000 to help keep music in our schools and community.
