Timesaving Qweeni Cap Puts Busy Women Back in Control

Timesaving Qweeni Cap Puts Busy Women Back in Control

Only Wash the Hair That’s Dirty and Keep the Rest Dry

Boca Raton, Florida – Finally, there’s a solution for women who want to avoid the hassle of washing and drying all their hair when they’re in a hurry. Qweeni Cap founder, Brian Paternostro of EZ Clean Products LLC, has invented a unique, beauty-boosting, patented shower cap.

“Qweeni cap was inspired by women who complained about all the time they wasted washing and styling their hair when they were in a hurry. I was determined to find a way they could wash just a portion of their hair, like the bangs or a ponytail, and keep the rest of their hair dry,” says Paternostro, who first experimented by cutting holes in regular shower caps and adding closures.

The average time a woman spends washing, drying, and styling her hair in the shower is four hours per week. Until Qweeni Cap, some busy women in a pinch might opt for a dry shampoo product, but this can often lead to hair breakage, clogged hair follicles, and a dry, itchy scalp that only masks dirty hair. Others might wrap parts of their heads in towels and plastic bags and lean over the kitchen sink.

Now, women can finally relax in the shower as they only wash the part of their hair that needs it, rather than their whole head. Busy moms and professionals all agree that this product is a winner.

Available for $34.95 in three cute styles, Qweeni Cap is made from modern, high-tech, woven 100% waterproof fabric. Order online at Qweenicap.com. The cap is machine washable, resistant to mold and mildew, dries fast, and wicks moisture away from the hair quickly and efficiently.

“Qweeni Cap can be purchased direct-to-consumer, with accessories available as well. Eventually, it will be available in retail stores,” says Paternostro.

About Qweeni Cap

Qweeni Cap is the patented shower cap engineered with an adjustable snap opening. Users can feel like a Queen as they pull as much dirty or oily hair through the opening as they wish and wash it all the way down to the scalp. The unique partition inside the cap keeps the wet side wet and the dry side dry. Visit qweeniecap.com or email info@qweenicap.com to sign up for offers.

JUNIOR LEAGUE OF THE PALM BEACHES’ COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM IS NOW OPEN

Deadline for non-profit organizations to apply is March 31, 2021

(West Palm Beach, Fla.) – Non-profits in search of funding from the Junior League of the Palm Beaches (JLPB) have until the end of March to apply for support from its Community Assistance Grants program. The JLPB awards non-profit organizations whose proposed funding would go towards one of the components of the League’s mission – promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The deadline to apply for the Community Assistance Grant is 5 p.m. on March 31, 2021 and selected grantees may receive up to $3,500 in financial aid toward a program or project.

JLPB has awarded more than $130,000 to support community organizations through its Community Assistance Grant program, which was established in 1992. In addition, over the last 20 years JLPB has awarded $30,000 in scholarships to future leaders in high schools throughout Palm Beach County.

“Each of the non-profits have the potential to positively change different aspects of our community in an impactful way,” said Julie Rudolph, president of JLPB. “During this time of great uncertainty, it’s gratifying to know these grants will help improve and can help youth in our community.”

Every April, the JLPB’s Community Advisory Council votes to determine the recipients of these grants. The Advisory Council is composed of Dorothy Jacks, Palm Beach County Property Appraiser; Jeremy Johnson, president and CEO of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County; Sara Nunez, executive director of the Pace Center for Girls in Broward County; Paula Ryan, former West Palm Beach city commissioner; and Whitney Cunningham Walker, senior community relations specialist, Florida Power & Light. The Advisory Council is chaired by Alexandra Chase, JLPB president-elect.

Alexandra Chase, JLPB President-elect

JLPB annually supports dozens of local community organizations – including Quantum House, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, Boys & Girls Club, Opportunity Early Childhood Education & Family Center, the Palm Beach County Food Bank, and many more. To help support the pressing needs of the community, they provide trained volunteers, donated materials, dedicated programing, and funding opportunities through community grants.

Now celebrating its 80th anniversary, JLPB’s impact on the Palm Beach community began in 1941 when 15 community-minded women established what was then called The Junior Welfare League. Today, JLPB remains an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of its 700 trained volunteers who collectively dedicate more than 3,000 hours of service each year.

For more information on the Community Assistance Grant or to apply, please visit jlpb.org/community-assistance-grant or call 561.689.7590. Non-profits will know if they have been selected to receive a grant by May 1, 2021.

New Series to Debut Outdoors on March 13, 2021
at the Harbourside Amphitheater
Benefiting Jupiter Medical Center and Starring
CAROLE J. BUFFORD

Jupiter, Fla. (February 23, 2021) – Harbourside Place today announced the launch of an exciting, new outdoor cabaret series to be held at the Harbourside Place waterfront amphitheater. The inaugural show of the series will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2021, and will feature the incomparable Carole J. Bufford and her band. Tickets will be sold only by the table to ensure that ticket purchasers have the opportunity to choose the individuals with whom they wish to sit. All seating will be in accordance with CDC guidelines, with a minimum of 6-feet social distancing between tables to observe proper COVID-19 safety protocols.

Carole J. Bufford

Thanks to the generosity of Braman Motorcars, the sponsor of the event, and Harbourside Place, all proceeds from the show will benefit the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation.

This exciting first event stars cabaret sensation Carole J. Bufford performing her new hit show, Come Together: When the ’60s Met the ’70s. Carole will be accompanied by pianist and music director Bobby Peaco, bass player Paul Shewchuk, guitarist Greg Minnick, and drummer Howie Gordon. Featuring the music made famous by Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Dusty Springfield, Bobby Gentry, Linda Ronstadt, and many more, Come Together explores the change in the musical landscape from 1965 to 1975, one of the most exciting, controversial, and impactful 10 years our country has ever seen. Come Together presents Carole at her very best, putting her own inimitable spin on the classics of the ’60s and ’70s, delving into and celebrating a time of great change and transition in America and across the pond. A recipient of the Nightlife, Bistro, and BroadwayWorld awards for Outstanding Vocalist, Carole J. Bufford has become one of the most sought-after performers on the American jazz and cabaret scene. She recently enjoyed rave reviews and sold-out runs of You Don’t Own Me at Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York, as well as a 10-month solo run at New York’s Birdland Jazz Club. Carole has been seen at the Kravis Center and at major cabaret venues throughout the United States and Europe.

“The real thing: you know it when you see it…The way her voice, with its blues inflections, cut a swath, leaving nothing standing, tempts me to describe her with groveling hyperbole as an earthier, more acerbic 21st-century Barbra Streisand.”
— Stephen Holden, The New York Times

All shows in the series will begin at 8 p.m., allowing audience members to dine on their own before the show; although Harbourside Place has a myriad of restaurants from which to choose. Dessert platters are included in the price of the table, and cash bars and beverage service will be available beginning at 7 p.m.

“Through this exciting, new series, audiences will once again be able to experience live music on stage at the magnificent and centrally located Harbourside Place in Jupiter, Florida,” said Harbourside CEO Nick Mastroianni II, along with the show’s executive producer Sanford (Sandy) Fisher. “After a difficult 2020, what better way to say ‘thank you’ to Jupiter Medical Center for caring for the community through this most challenging time.”
