Are you aware that your Wycliffe Stiffs Stickball League, in memory of David Hamburger, past Dir. of Announcers and Scorekeepers, in 2012 helped create the Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, partnership with Wycliffe CC Play for P.I.N.K.?
The support by Wycliffe Stiffs and eventually Wycliffe CC led to the success and a win, win for everyone involved. This program from our impetus and success , helped moved the program to NY and NJ.
You went to dinner at Anthony’s, and they gave 20% of your check to Play for P.I.N.K. ,Wycliffe CC Play for P.I.N.K. Program. So easy, so enjoyable, rewarding and so helpful. A piece of cake we would say!!!!!!!!!
So it’s real simple- If you go to Anthony’s in Wellington on 441, in the Isla Verde Shopping Center opposite Total Wine – on any or all of the following dates, Anthony’s will make the same donation. You must tell your server that you are there for the Wycliffe CC Play for P.I.N.K. Program.
Dates: Mondays in October – Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27
If you are up North, in NY or NJ the same applies.
We trust that you will want to enjoy yourself at Anthony’s as we do every time we go there, and will share this with your friends, even if they are not “Geezer Jocks “like you.

About Afterlife:
In true Science Center-style, Afterlife: Tombs & Treasures of Ancient Egypt will have interactive components, making guests feel like they have stepped into a time machine, warping them to an elaborate ancient empire. Most notably, guests can step into the centerpiece of the exhibition, a full- size reconstruction of the burial chamber of the great Pharaoh Thutmose III.
On tour for more than 10 years, and seen by more than 4.5 million people worldwide, Afterlife will be coming from a wildly-popular tour in Asia, where science seekers lined up for more than 6 hours for a glimpse at the largest current touring exhibition of authentic Egyptian material. Winning the International Award at the UK Museum and Heritage Awards ceremony in 2012, visitors will be mystified by 200 exquisite and original artifacts, all of which are on display in North America for the first time ever.
Among the most significant artifacts making its debut, is the Ramesside male mummy believed to be the son of Ramses II, often referred to as “Ramses the Great.” The identity of this 3000-year-old mummy was most recently revealed through an advance Computerized Tomography (CT) Scan carried out during an episode of “Mummy Forensics” on The History Channel. Additionally, there are several other mummies in the exhibition, including a wrapped mummy of a woman and a mummy of a young girl believed to be about 4 – 8 years old.
