Place of Hope Launches “Fit for Hope” for the Summer, Encouraging Fitness and Philanthropy

Palm Beach Gardens FL – July 24, 2017 – Place of Hope welcomes fitness enthusiasts to break a sweat, feel the burn and share the joy of wellness during its 2017 Fit for Hope campaign.

This summer, the series of heart-pumping, exercise-oriented fundraisers will benefit the new Gray Fitness Center being constructed on the Place of Hope Paxson Campus in Palm Beach Gardens. Slated to open in the fall, the center will give foster youth who reside on the campus convenient access to exercise and fitness equipment.

Fit for Hope is designed for all levels and ages to participate. Beginning July 8, the campaign gives exercisers three ways to get involved with helping foster youth:

1) Get fit. Supporters can accept the #FitForHope challenge by performing a fitness activity and capturing themselves getting fit, then posting it to social media with the #FitForHope hashtag.
2) Donate: Supporters can donate $5 by visiting www.placeofhope.com and selecting Fit for Hope on the Donate page.
3) Get social. Supporters can upload their fitness activity and challenge their friends to get #FitForHope and tag Place of Hope.
Area fitness facilities and gyms are getting on the action again. This year, events that welcome people to exercise and donate will be held from Jupiter to Wellington with the closing challenge scheduled at Jupiter Christian School.
