WHAT:  Rhythms for the Brain: A NeuroArts Symposium

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in collaboration with the Mind, Music and Movement Foundation for Neurological Disorders (M3F) presents a one-day conference featuring nationally recognized leaders.

The event will focus on how the arts measurably change the body, brain and behavior, improve physical and mental health, amplify the ability to prevent, manage and recover from diseases and more. Presenters include:

  • Brian Harris, founder and CEO of MEDRhythms
  • David Leventhal, program director and founding teacher of Dance for PD®
  • Dr. Patricia Izbicki, Ph.D., neuroscientist at Octave
  • Dr. Jason Hao, DOM at Hao Acupuncture Clinics
  • Susan Magsamen, founder and executive director of the International Arts + Lab, author of “Your Brain on Art”

WHEN: March 23, 2024

  • Registration begins at 11 a.m. / Programming begins at 12 p.m.
  • The VIP Cocktail Reception will follow at 4:30 p.m.
  • 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Registration in Persson Hall Lobby
  • 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Speaker Demonstrations in Persson Hall
  • 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Private VIP Reception & Book Signing in Khoury Family Dance Rehearsal Hall

ADMISSION: Registration fee is $65 and includes a boxed lunch catered by Lessing’s Hospitality

Group. In addition to the registration fee, tickets to the VIP Cocktail Reception are $100. There is limited space and registration is required. This is an in-person event with an option to join virtually via Zoom for a registration fee of $25.
