September, 2010 – Women in Business Luncheon

The Palms West Community Foundation, as part of its Women in Business series, is hosting a luncheon on Thursday, September 23 at Binks Forest Golf Club beginning at noon.  IberiaBank is sponsoring the event which will feature the #1 New York Times best-selling author, Tami Hoag, as the speaker.  Hoag has long divided her time between Los Angeles and Wellington, due to her passion for riding, and she has even competed at a national level in dressage.  But, luckily for Wellington and the Women in Business, Hoag has decided to relocate to Wellington as a full-time resident this year. 

Hoag has more than thirteen consecutive NY imes bestsellers to her credit; has more than forty books in print, and has been published in more than twenty languages.  Her work encompasses a wide range of styles from romantic comedy to romantic suspense, but she is most well-known for her thrillers with their fast-paced plots and dead-on police procedure.  Wellington’s most recent full-time resident–Hoag will captivate the Women in Business crowd with her spell-binding tales about her lifetime of experiences in both the literary world and in the equestrian community of dressage.
