St. David’s in-the-Pines Episcopal Church will be hosting a Community Yard Sale. Spaces and tables are available for purchase for those who want to sell their own items and the church will be collecting donations of gently used items to sell at its own table. Baked goods will also be sold.
“We’re excited to bring this fun, family-friendly event to the community and to provide an opportunity for residents to do their spring cleaning with a purpose,” said Father Steven Thomas, the Rector of St. David’s. “Spring represents a time of cleansing and renewal and what better way to begin anew than to clean out the those things, both physical and spiritual, that are cluttering up our lives.”
The Community Yard Sale takes place on Saturday, May 21 from 7:00 a.m. until Noon. Single and double spaces are available, with or without tables. Donations for the St. David’s table may be brought to the church, located at the corner of Forest Hill Blvd. and Wellington Trace, on May 7 and May 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information about the event and event pricing, please contact Laurie Cohen at (561) 252-9828 or visit the church’s website at www.saintdavidsinthepines.org.
“We hope everyone will join us for this wonderful community event,” said Father Thomas.
