Susan G. Komen Florida Teams Up with Chick-fil-A to Fight Breast Cancer

On Monday, April 1st, Two Area Restaurants Will Host “Spirit Day” Events for the Cause

WELLINGTON, FL. – Looking for a fool-proof way to support the lifesaving work of Susan G. Komen Florida?  On Monday, April 1st, just mention the organization when you order your Chick-fil-A favorites at their Royal Palm Beach or The Mall at Wellington Green locations. A percentage of your sale will benefit the lifesaving work the foundation is doing right here in our community. Catering orders that are placed throughout the day and either picked up or delivered (minimum charge applies for delivery) will also have a portion of sales dedicated to the cause.

The effort, created by Royal Palm Beach teenager Talia Fitter, is just one way the community is being creative in their fight against breast cancer. “Watching my mother battle the disease, and win, inspired me to want to do more to help others,” shared Fitter. “If it was not for the grant issued by Komen Florida, my mother would not have been able to receive screenings or subsequent treatment. It truly saved her life and for that we are grateful.”

The Royal Palm Beach restaurant is at 206 S State Road 7, West Palm Beach, FL 33414 in the Home Depot Shopping Center and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.: https://www.chick-fil-a.com/Locations/FL/Royal-Palm-Beach. The Mall at Wellington Green location will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 10300 Forest Hill Blvd, Suite FC108, Wellington, FL 33414: https://www.chick-fil-a.com/Locations/FL/The-Mall-at-Wellington-Green. Both locations offer online ordering.
