The 52nd Annual Urban League of Palm Beach County’s Annual Equal Opportunity Day Awards was held on Friday, May 9, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. The annual event this year was themed as a Wild Wild West Gala and it included dinner and dancing, and a number of people being recognized for what they do for the Urban League. Mistress of Ceremonies for the event this year was News Anchor Tania Rogers. The award honorees included the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Trailblazer Achievement Award, the Alfred J. Malefatto Humanitarian Achievement Award, and the Youth Achievement Award. FPL also was recognized for their service to the organization.
