Wellington Garden Club Announces Spring Plant Sale

“GARDENING MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE”

Wellington Garden Club (WGC) is excited to announce its spring plant sale on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wellington Town Center Amphitheater located at 12100 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington, FL. The sale will be held rain or shine. Admission is FREE!

“This is a unique opportunity for area residents to get a head start on spring gardening by purchasing fabulous plants procured from local nurseries as well as unique plants grown by knowledgeable garden club members”, said Carol Ralph, Plant Sale Co-Chair.

Offerings will include Florida native plants, perennials, butterfly plants, annuals, hanging baskets and much more. Stormi Bivin, Plant Sale Co-Chair urges everyone to “Join us for a lovely outdoor event surrounded by Nature’s beauty.”

Proceeds from the sale benefit the club’s civic beautification, scholarships, youth activities and environmental programs.

Palm Beach County/CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed. Masks are required and face shields will be worn by garden club volunteers who have close contact with customers. WGC members will be in attendance throughout the day to direct and assist visitors. In addition, Palm Beach County Master Gardeners will be available for gardening questions.

Wellington Garden Club (WGC), a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, has been serving Wellington area communities since 1981.
