The Wellington Rotary Club and the Village of Wellington presented a World Peace Ceremony on Sept. 22nd at the Wellington Rotary Peace Park. Carly Cantor sang the National Anthem and “What a Wonderful World.” Elementary, Middle School and High School students were awarded for their creative efforts, all on the subject of peace. The Rotary Club Community Peace Award went to Diana Stanley of the Lord’s Place. As always, doves were released into the air at the conclusion of the ceremony.
