For the second year in a row, Wycliffe Golf & Country Club
in Wellington, FL partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Palm Beach County to bring joy to their littles this holiday season
Who: Wycliffe Golf & Country Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County
What: The staff of Wycliffe Golf & Country Club built 13 children’s bicycles at a recent holiday teambuilding event that will be presented to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County at their Annual Cookies & Milk event. The members and staff at Wycliffe were also encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys for these children as well and the response has been overwhelming! The children that are a part of the program will drop in to choose a holiday gift out of the bicycles Wycliffe has donated as well as other generous donations. Wycliffe will be supplying helmets for the bikes, additional toys as well as the cookies for the event.
When:
Saturday, December 21st
11 am to 12:30 pm
Representatives from both Wycliffe and Big Brothers Big Sisters will be available.
Where:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County
1700 Kirk Rd.

Why: Wycliffe Golf & Country Club set out to work with an organization that had roots within the local community. As a family friendly establishment, working with children was a top priority. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children realize their potential and build their futures. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. To find out how you can get involved, visit www.mentorbig.org.
