Pilot vs La Elina

In front of a packed audience Pilot jumped off to a very quick and dominating start.

By halftime they had a 9-2 lead, never looked back and held on to an 11-6 victory.

This victory, in addition to trophies allowed the team to take home the winner’s share which was $100,000.

10 goaler Fucundo Pieres led all scorers for the day as well as throughout the entire tournament and for entire season.

He was selected as the MVP for this tournament in addition to MVP for the entire Gauntlet of Polo as well.

He was supported by Pilot’s Patron Curtis Pilot, Matias Torres Zavaleta and Wellington’s own Mackenzie Weisz.

The La Elina team was comprised  of Juan Martin Obregon, Geronimo Obregon, Facundo Obregon and Jared Zenni.

This year’s event had 20 teams entered, the most ever for the US Open Polo competition.
