May 5: Catabella Music Band (Latin)

Born in Colombia, but raised in Miami, tropical music vocalist “Catabella” has been performing on the South Florida music scene for more than 10 years. In early 2019, Catabella Music was blessed to join forces with Armando Latouche from Venezuela, who has more than 20 years of international performance and directing experience. With his guidance as an arranger and composer singing in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, the band expanded its reach across cultures. With extremely talented musicians from Colombia, Cuba, and Venezuela, Catabella Music Band is now one of the hottest and diverse bands in South Florida.

May 12: Roots Shakedown (Rock/Roots/Reggae)

Get down with Roots Shakedown! Formed in 2009, Roots Shakedown creates original music with a variety of influences, including rock, reggae and dub. The local band has captured listeners from all over the globe with the release of its 2010 EP “Mash Up The Sound” and never looked back. 

May 19: Clematis by Night at the Blockworks’ Permissionless Stage featuring 3LAU (EDM: (Electronic Dance Music)  

  • PLS&TY (Opener) Tommy Leas, a Florida native – better known as PLS&TY – is burgeoning into the electronic dance music scene with his unique sound “languid bass,” captivating vocals, and upbeat melodies. After a collection of chart-topping singles including “Good Vibes,” “Down For Me”, “Rebel Love,” and “Motives,” PLS&TY’s productions were remixed by Grammy-nominated artist Morgan Page, Rusko, Cazzette, and more.
  • AMICAZ  (Opener) Amicaz is gaining traction at many EDM hotspots throughout the country, including Vegas, NYC and Miami. The female DJ power duo are also known as “Chicks in Tech.” With dance and EDM as their go-to genre, they’ll get the party started.   
  • 3 LAU (Headliner) Justin Blau, also known as 3LAU (pronounced “Blau”), is a successful recording artist, DJ, and producer. His well-received original tracks include “How You Love Me,” “Is It Love,” “Fire,” “On My Mind,” “Hot Water,” and “Star Crossed,” as well as hit remixes for Rhianna, Katy Perry, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande. Blau has built a reputation as a must-see live performer, appearing at major festivals as Electric Zoo, EDC Vegas, Lollapalooza, and Life Is Beautiful, as well as international tours. 

May 26: Mischief (R&B/Pop)

Mischief was founded as an alternative to the “status quo” classic rock cover band. A professional, committed, fun and talented group of musicians, the band quickly gelled into one of South Florida’s Premier dance bands.

Pathfinders Scholarship Program of Palm Beach and Martin County is once again awarding 54 local high school seniors with college scholarships. The organization is announcing the winners on-line virtually and via a video celebrating the 2022 winners, which will be aired in advance of Screen on the Green. Students, teachers, families and the public are invited to watch and celebrate these amazing scholars.

No worries about eating dessert before heading to this month’s Screen on the Green as Uncle Louie G Italian Ices food truck will be onsite! Enjoy luscious desserts including ice cream, shakes and acai bowls.

Join 97.9 WRMF’s Kevin, Virginia & Jason from the KVJ Show for an unconventional Hurricane Party presented by BNT Impact Windows and Doors! The BNT Hurricane Party at Sunday on the Waterfront will feature food, drinks and live entertainment – but with full electricity!

On-site vendors will provide supplies for the upcoming hurricane season while guests enjoy live entertainment by The People Upstairs and The Band CAMINO.

Register to win a Generac generator from Rack Electric, speak with hurricane preparation experts and more!

The event will also feature food trucks, while refreshments will be available for purchase from Curbside Gourmet and Uncle Louie G Italian Ices! 

About the bands: 

  • Opener: The People Upstairs have been playing for more than a decade, reflecting chemistry and camaraderie amongst the band. The mixture of brotherly love, low-brow comedy and musical talent makes The People Upstairs more than a band – they are an act. ReMix is known for showcasing a wide variety of music selections with an unmatched level of high energy. The band prides itself on appealing to any crowd, anywhere. ReMix performs music from an array of decades and genres, including top 40, Latin, oldies, R&B, rock, and more. Seeing ReMix live is unlike any other show – it is an experience.

GroovinSoul’s handpicked group of powerhouse vocalists and instrumentalists will excite and engage the CbN audience. The band’s tight harmonies, energy and diversity offer something for everyone. The musicians hail from all over the world and have been seen on some of the most prominent stages in the industry – including American Idol! From the second this high-energy party band hits the stage, the music, dancing, and the party never stop!

Established in 2002 and hailing from South Florida, Riverdown is an explosive and versatile live cover rock band. Boasting a constantly expanding repertoire of more than 500 songs spanning six decades, the band includes four skilled lead singers and the ability to perform unplugged or electric. Each Riverdown show is fresh and full of surprises. From “Seven Bridges Road” to “Highway to Hell,” this will surely be a rock ‘n’ roll ride. 

June 23: Big Al & the Heavyweights (Gumbo, Blues, Zydeco)www.bigal.net

From Cajun to zydeco to blues to rock and everything in between, Big Al & the Heavyweights offer a musical gumbo sure to please all! Formed in 1996 as the Unknown Blues Band, this New Orleans group has been featured at festivals and venues throughout the U.S. and will now be coming to the West Palm Beach Waterfront to deliver a family-friendly, energetic performance.

June 10: Clifford the Big Red Dog

As middle schooler Emily Elizabeth struggles to fit in at home and at school, she discovers a small red puppy who is destined to become her best friend from a magical animal rescuer. When Clifford becomes a gigantic red dog in her New York City apartment and attracts the attention of a genetics company who wish to supersize animals, Emily and her clueless Uncle Casey have to fight the forces of greed as they go on the run across New York City and take a bite out of the Big Apple. Along the way, Clifford affects the lives of everyone around him and teaches Emily and her uncle the true meaning of acceptance and unconditional love. Based on the beloved Scholastic character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big.

Motown and More is one of the hottest Motown tributes in town. This dynamic group of musicians and vocalists have opened for many celebrities and are popping up everywhere on the local scene.  Let this talented group of musicians show you what the magic of Motown is all about!

Food trucks will be on site and food and drinks will be available for purchase from Krazy Cuban Flavor and Uncle Louie G Italian Ices! 

Sunday on the Waterfront is the coolest scene in downtown West Palm Beach. 9 p.m.: Fireworks show over the Intracoastal Waterway

4th on Flagler will return to the West Palm Beach for its 34th annual celebration! The evening event is one of the largest free outdoor Independence Day events in South Florida. At the center of the excitement is an 18-minute fireworks display. Additional activities include multiple stages of music (live music on the Palm Stage, DJ and kid’s area at the Meyer Amphitheatre, and a DJ in the Post Park area)., kid’s activities, strolling entertainment (including a magician, stilt walkers, and more), a Military Honor Ceremony, face painting, food, drinks and more.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Raya and the Last Dragon travels to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together in harmony long ago. When an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. Tribute to Bob Marley (Reggae) 

This amazing tribute to the one-and-only Bob Marley features Yvad, former lead singer of The Wailers band and solo artist. Hear the hits and songs of this legendary Reggae artist like No Woman No CryThree Little BirdsBuffalo SoldierRedemption Song and many more!

Yvad himself has had 3 major hit songs on the Jamaica Music Awards and was featured on the cover of Billboard magazine. His song ‘We Need Love’ won best produced single in the top nominated Reggae songs in Jamaica, garnering international attention. He has also worked with Ziggy Marley and family and was signed to the family Label “Tuff Gong Int” records.

With their continued love of classic funk and rock, guitarist Mark Lyman, vocalist/saxophonist Tabby Allman, bassist Dave Hemingway, and drummer Marc Paul, of Sacred Union are thrilled to be joining forces with their longtime musical friends, The B-Side Horns.  

The bands will perform their unique brand of classic funk and rock hits of the 70’s 80’s and 90’s, from James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone and Stevie Wonder, to Prince, Lenny Kravitz, The Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, The Spin Doctors, and many more.

The Noctámbulo Band (Salsa meets Latin Jazz)

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Sunday on the Waterfront!

The Noctámbulo Band is a 7-piece high energy band of talented and very creative musicians from Cuba, Colombia, and Puerto Rico. Performing at the crossroads where salsa meets Latin jazz, the band performs throughout South Florida and beyond playing classics from the 70s, 80s, and through today. Frontman Luis Manuel, one unique and versatile sonero, will keep the crowd up and dancing all night long with his magical sound.

The seasonal staple has a variety of vendors selling fresh produce, sweet treats, gourmet products, plants and flowers, and more. It is a must see and do for the October – April season.
