Boca Raton Fire Fighters Need Your Help!
(Boynton Beach, FL) – Summer is here and so are our local heroes. It’s the MDA Fill-the-Boot time! Boca Raton Fire Fighters Local 1560 will be raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association every Friday in August from 10:30am-12:30pm and 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Boca Raton Fire Fighters Local 1560 will be asking motorists and pedestrians to donate money as they strive toward the goal of filling fire boots with cash and change. The campaign is being held at Boca Raton’s busiest intersections. Locations planned for this year’s fall boot drive are:
Glades Road / Federal Highway
Palmetto Park Road / NW 12th Ave
Palmetto Park Road / A1A
Yamato Road / NW 2nd Ave OR Yamato Road / Congress Ave
Glades Road / NW 15th Ave, Airport Road OR Glades Road / Butts Road
Clint Moore Road / Military Trial
Yamato Road / Jog Road
Camino Real / Federal Highway OR Camino Real / Dixie Highway
“Our organization is very excited about the upcoming boot drive, and know that this boot drive will be extremely successful,” Liz Coffey, MDA fundraising coordinator said. “We are extremely thankful to L1560 Fire Rescue personnel for all their continued efforts and support of MDA through the Fill-the-Boot campaign.”
