The artists of Wild Things invite you to celebrate our 7th annual wildlife-themed art show and sale benefiting the Rare Species Conservatory Foundation, www.rarespecies.org.  This show brings together artists from around the country presenting works in all media inspired by nature.  The show is a celebration of all things wild and free interpreted in paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery, fine jewelry, mixed media and more.  This show is graciously hosted by Gisela and Howald Pferdekamper, in their lovely private studio in Loxahatchee.  Sales proceeds benefit RSCF’s global wildlife conservation programs.

Artists participating in the show include Norman Gitzen, Melinda Moore, Anthony Burks, Rollin McGrail, Janet Heaton, Gisela Pferdekamper, Jean Hutchison, Mindy Colton, Donatella Linari, Sasha Lickle, Jill Elisofon, Karen McGovern, Jackie Harris, Maria Hayden, EarthART, and more.

Opening night special guests and sponsors include New York Times best selling author Tami Hoag, wild animal guests courtesy of Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, delicious “light bites” courtesy of International Polo Club Palm Beach and the Wanderers Club Wellington, and live music courtesy of Lake Worth artist and musician Rick Cohen.

Live art demonstrations will be performed throughout the evening, including a raku ceramics firing by Jackie Harris.  Our raffle table will be filled with original artworks donated by participating artists and wonderful gifts from local businesses.  Raffle tickets will be available opening night, $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.  If you cannot attend the opening night reception but would like to purchase raffle tickets, please contact Karen at [email protected].

The show will remain open Monday, February 11 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday, February 12 by appointment.
