NORTH PALM BEACH, FL — (May 11, 2020) — Under Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Phase One Reopening Plan for Florida, Barcello and Limoncello Ristorante will reopen on Monday, May 11, 2020, for outdoor and limited indoor dining.

Per the orders of the state, both restaurants will operate at 25 percent capacity, and patrons who sit outside will be seated six feet apart.

“We are excited and looking forward to seeing our loyal customers at both Limoncello and Barcello,” said co-owner Robert Ghini, who co-owns the restaurants with his brother Victor Ghini.

Since before the state-ordered shutdown, both restaurants were taking extra precautions to keep their employees and customers safe; they will continue to do so. Since the shutdown, Limoncello and Barcello switched their business model to curbside, takeout and delivery service along with a Cocktails to Go program. Barcello introduced a weekly Family Dinner program to feed four and Limoncello offered a Mother’s Day Dinner special. Last week the restaurants received a $20,000 donation to help their 40 employees who have been struggling to make ends meet. Each employee received a $500 gift card.

“Our customers have truly supported us during these unwavering times. The monetary donation was a wonderful surprise and is a true testament that there are people out there who care about others and who want to help make a positive impact on peoples’ lives during this really tough time,” said Ghini.

Named a Diner’s Choice Award recipient for “Best Contemporary American Restaurant in Palm Beach County” in January and February 2020, Barcello offers diners an extensive upscale, contemporary menu filled with salads, pizza, pasta and main entrée favorites including pan roasted cobia, Scottish salmon and cast-iron chicken.

Limoncello was named a Diner’s Choice Award recipient for “Top Italian Restaurant in Palm Beach County” for January and February 2020. The restaurant’s menu is modern in approach and Italian in spirit. Menu highlights include fresh pastas made in-house daily, meats, fish and seafood, and celebrated Italian classics, as well as an antipasti section.

Both restaurants are eager to open and will get everyone back to work on a rotating schedule for now. “The news couldn’t have come at a more perfect time,” said Ghini.

Both Limoncello and Barcello will continue to offer takeout service. Hours are 4 to 9 pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the restaurants or via Open Table.
