Twilight Green Market at Wellington Coming to
Town Center Promenade in October
Wellington is excited to announce the launch of the Twilight Green Market at Wellington on the new Town Center Promenade, a scenic waterfront attraction spanning the length of the Lake Wellington shoreline. The promenade is located directly behind the Wellington Community Center at 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard.
Visitors to the market will enjoy a selection of unique, locally-sourced, fresh farm-to-fork produce from farmers and growers in addition to:
- artists and crafters
- locally grown herbs
- local Florida honey
- fresh baked goods, breads, and pastries
- fresh flowers
- fruits and vegetables
- plant-based and vegetarian products
- sustainable seafood
Each week will feature a Market Showcase of an exhibitor conducting a product demonstration, cooking demo or educational presentation, while live music played from the Gazebo will provide ambient background music to the market.
Convenient nearby amenities include the Wellington Community Center, lush green space, restrooms, and Scott’s Place; a barrier-free playground designed to meet the needs of all children.
The Market will be open, weather permitting, on Fridays, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, October 2, 2020 through March 26, 2021, and will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The Twilight Green Market at Wellington is pet friendly. Please remember to pick up after your pet. Admission and parking are FREE.
The Twilight Green Market is being planned with the safety of both exhibitors and the attending public as our top priority. All booths will have placement on the beautiful, newly constructed promenade with ample space to keep the public moving around the market.
Guests are expected to follow all recommended social distancing and CDC guidelines and wear a mask while shopping the market.
Additional safety measures include:
- Booths spaced out to permit extra spacing between booths.
- The requirement that all exhibitors be masked and have hand sanitizer on hand to augment the sanitizing stations provided by the event.
- Signs at all entrances will require that all attendees be masked.
We expect the Twilight Green Market to provide attendees with a safe and fun event, a welcome one in these difficult times.
