Seventh Annual “Taste of Recovery” Culinary Festival

DELRAY BEACH AND LAKE WORTH, FL (October 9, 2025)–The seventh annual Taste of Recovery will be held on Saturday, November 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the American German Club on 5111 Lantana Road in Lake Worth.  The acclaimed culinary festival will feature bites from top chefs representing restaurants throughout Palm Beach County, as well as entertainment.  Jocelyn and Dylan Morgan are event co-chairs. Last year, more than one thousand people attended the event.

Taste of Recovery will benefit The Crossroads Club, a non-profit organization in Delray Beach that is celebrating more than 40 years in the community. The organization, at no charge, provides a safe-haven for anyone whose life has been adversely affected by, or through, the use of addictive substances.

The event was founded by Chef Louie Bossi, chef/partner of Louie Bossi’s Ristorante and Pizzeria. Big Time Restaurant Group has been a supporter of the event since its inception.

“Taste of Recovery is a fantastic evening of delicious food from our finest area restaurants, all while supporting an important cause–helping to fight addiction,” said Dylan Morgan, Executive Director of The Crossroads Club and event co-chair.

Judges include Jan Norris, food writer for the Coastal Star and STET, and Mike Mayo, Mike Food journalist and podcaster, co-founder, “Let’s Eat South Florida” Facebook group.

Participating restaurants thus far include Rocco’s Tacos, Elisabetta’s, Louie Bossi’s, Louie’s Hot Chicken, Art Basil Restaurant, J & J Seafood Bar and Grill, City Cellar, Motor City Pizza, Taco Tuesday’s Taqueria and Pure Life Cafe.

Sponsors include S.E. Toyota, Drew Horowitz & Associates, Neighborlee Living, Caron Renaissance, Futures Recovery Healthcare, Robinson & Casey, Stuart and Shelby Home Builders and Beachway Therapy Center.

A “People’s Choice” Award will be given for “Best Bite,” and prominent local food writers will decide the Critics’ Choice Awards. The Critic’s Choice 1st Place Award is $2000. The Critic’s Choice 2nd Place Award is $1500. The People’s Choice Award is $1500.

In 2024, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill was the recipient of both the “People’s Choice” and the “Critics’ Choice” awards for “Best Bite for its short ribs.  Rocco’s Tacos was awarded second place.
