JWF Supports Many Causes, Including Those Outside the Jewish Community
West Palm Beach, Fla. — Sept. 27, 2018 — The Jewish Women’s Foundation of the Greater Palm Beaches (JWF) will host its “Imagine the Possibilities” annual luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. With the theme “Investing in Women,” this year’s event continues to support the mission of JWF, which is to advance the status of women and girls in the U.S. and Israel through strategic grantmaking, advocacy and education, and leadership development programs to create long-lasting social change.
An inclusive organization open to anyone who supports its mission and values, JWF is pleased to present this year’s luncheon, which 250 guests are expected to attend. During the event, JWF Founding Trustee Paula Lustbader will be honored with the Eileen Berman Leadership Award.
Featured speakers will include Jane Mosbacher Morris, founder and CEO of To the Market. To The Market connects businesses and consumers to ethically-made, social impact premium products created by vulnerable communities from around the world. Mosbacher Morris is the author of the forthcoming book “Buy the Change You Want to See: Use Your Purchasing Power to Make the World a Better Place.” All luncheon attendees will receive a signed copy of the book. Participants from JWF’s “No Small Change” teen philanthropy program will also be present to speak.
Event sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500–$15,000 are available; sponsorship information is available at https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E229129&id=9.
“At JWF, we envision a world where gender is not a barrier to safety or success and women and girls have equal social, political, economic and religious opportunities,” said JWF Acting Executive Director Jennifer Kryshka. “We are pleased to support many causes, including those outside of the Jewish community. Our annual luncheon presents a wonderful opportunity to get to know more about our foundation, and the many causes with which we are involved.”
