SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

LAKE WORTH, FL – The Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery located at 605 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth will host a “Spring has Sprung” artist’s reception on April 2nd from 6 pm – 9 pm.  We invite you to join us for an evening of art in celebration of the changing of the seasons.  Wine, fresh flowers and delicious fresh fruit and cheeses will be on hand, along with a gallery full of original artisan jewelry, pottery, sculpture and textiles.   Come help us celebrate the arrival of Spring!

This evening brought to you courtesy of Gallery artists Karyl Mae Karpinos, Theo Sable, Mary Ellen Dohrs, and Doreen Alfaro.

Theo Sable is a sculptor, fine jewelry designer and all-around creative Spirit.  Spring is a special time for her and she writes:  For me, the symbolism of Spring embodies the life force and the primal energy of being.  At this point, anything that supplies energy to my life is very welcome, and this fuels my creative energies.”

Mary Ellen Dohrs has been a designer and sculptor for over 20 years.  Her figures often portray whimsical representations of the natural world.  A current new design features a giant, grinning snail.  She writes:  “Spring” has many definitions but my favorite is LIGHT.  Light brings understanding, and energy and promise. Not only do plants grow in the light, but ideas to express energy and movement, the signature quality in my work,  come more easily.  I love Spring!”

Clay Glass Metal Stone Cooperative Gallery is sponsored by the Flamingo Clay Studio, a nonprofit arts organization whose mission is to provide affordable studio and gallery space for artists. The gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 9AM to 9PM, and Sunday through Tuesday from 9AM to 5 PM.
