2012 Heroes in Medicine Awards: Tickets Now On Sale

West Palm Beach – Palm Beach County Medical Society Services is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the 9th Heroes in Medicine Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 9th at the Kravis Center Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach.  The event will include a reception, awards ceremony, silent auction, and entertainment.

The prestigious Heroes in Medicine Awards honor individuals, organizations, and businesses throughout Palm Beach County that use their skills and resources in the field of health care to provide outstanding services for the people of our local, national, and global communities.  In addition to properly recognizing our Heroes in Medicine, this initiative serves to encourage and stimulate future heroes by promoting a commitment to community service.

Heroes are recognized in six categories: Community Outreach Heroes, Health Care Provider Heroes, Physician Local/National Heroes, Physician International Heroes, Bruce Rendina Professional Heroes, and Student Heroes.

Proceeds from this event benefit Project Access, providing health care for low income, uninsured residents of Palm Beach County. The program is administered by the Palm Beach County Medical Society Services, Inc., a 501(c) 3 corporation.

We appreciate the support of Presenting Benefactor Rendina Companies.

This event is open to the public.  Tickets are $90 each, or $1,500 for a table sponsorship for 10.  To learn more about Heroes in Medicine, purchase tickets, and meet our 2012 Heroes, visit www.pbcms.org/heroes or call 561-433-3940.
