What is Great Strides?
GREAT STRIDES: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fund-raising event. Tens of thousands of co-workers, friends, and families come together each year, as one community for one cause, to help find a cure for CF.
In 2011, over $37 million was raised to support vital CF programs. Enjoy the celebration with fun activities for the whole family!
What is cystic fibrosis?
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. More that 10 million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene.
Why support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation?

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
• VOLUNTEER – Help recruit others. Together we can make a difference.
• FORM A TEAM – Put together a group of co-workers, friends, or family members. CFF staff can help you with ideas and tools to make your team successful.
• HOST a breakfast/drinks and recruit friends, business associates.
• GET CREATIVE and have fun raising funds. Consider a “dress-down day,” car wash, pizza lunch, silent auction.
• SERVE on a planning committee or help with logistics the day of the event.
