Lake Worth – Our Bridge is Open

Stop and Visit Lake Worth

The Lake Worth Bridge has now become the area conduit to Palm Beach island.  Hundreds have begun crossing the bridge on a daily basis.   The residents of Lake Worth invite everyone passing throught to stop and experience the charm of their Greenwich Village hometown paradise.  The residents invite you to share the downtown’s free parking, dog friendly restaurants, sidewalk cafes, news stands, and weekend street events like Evening on the Avenues and Second Saturday Side Walk Sale, with puppet shows, strolling troubadours, vendors and musicians.  The downtown streets are always filled with friends and neighbors walking, biking and chatting.

The town’s beautiful beach enhances this Gateway to the Tropics and is becoming a growing tourist destination.  On Saturday you can stop to shop at the local green market just north of the east end of bridge.  A variety of fresh produce, baked goods, plants, flowers, clothing and prepared foods are available.

So next time you cross the bridge or looking for fun, consider stopping in Lake Worth, rather than just driving through.  Stop, take a leisurely stroll through town, visit one of the many eclectic restaurants,  fine galleries or unique gift shops and best of all park for free!
