U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fl) will tackle the debt crisis and putting the country on a path to fiscal security when he addresses the season opener of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches on Aug. 25. The state’s senior senator is also expected to talk about the future of entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare and the nation’s high unemployment rate.
The noon luncheon is being held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach. Public tickets are $55 and must be purchased in advance by calling the Forum Club at: (561) 304-0570.
