Dr. Vincent Dolce – Change Your Smile, Change Your Life

By Krista Martinelli

There’s something different from the average dentist office you will notice when you walk into Dr. Vincent Dolce’s office. You find yourself in a beautifully-appointed living room, including the fireplace, when you visit the waiting room. But the cozy atmosphere is not the main difference, according to Dr. Dolce and his patients. “We treat patients how you would want to be treated . . . like family,” says Dolce.

Dr. Vincent Dolce is excited about the latest advance in dentistry, which is

helping those who need full-mouth reconstruction. It’s called “All on 4,” and it allows patients to have a temporary replacement for both their top and bottom teeth all at once, with fixed bridgework the same day.   In the past, there was no good way of replacing the teeth as a patient went through full mouth reconstruction, which can take anywhere from 6 months to one year. They were forced to wear a denture.

What else is special about his practice? Dolce is concerned about the esthetics of the “whole face,” so he has added Botox, fillers and PRP facial rejuvenation to his dental services. For example, in many cases, patients with dental issues have a downward-turned smile. In addition to repairing their dental issues, Dolce is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, so he can completely fix their smile and their whole look. “It’s a whole new way to look at patients,” says Dolce.

With Botox, PRP facial rejuvenation, veneers, implants and dental reconstruction, Dolce offers a wide range of services. People in the equestrian community have been familiar with PRP for a while now, since Platelet Rich Plasma has been used for wound healing in treating horses. PRP facial rejuvenation creates a layer of collagen and has amazing results.  Unlike fillers and Botox it rejuvenates the skin.

In addition to his doctorate, Dr. Dolce holds a Master’s degree in nutrition, giving him another new way of looking at his patients.  He’s able to provide a healthy perspective on the benefits of nutrition for positive dental health, helping to promote good health and well-being for the entire body.

As a dentist, Dolce wishes that people understand how easy dental care is and how little time it actually takes. One of the major problems is not flossing enough. He laughs, “My motto is – Floss, Don’t Text while You Drive.”  Although he’s joking about that, he does remind patients that having dental floss in a few places – like the shower or the car, will help them find a better, more reliable routine.

His patients appreciate the extra “whole person” treatment that they get in visiting Dr. Dolce. A recent comment from a couple was, “We’ve never felt so comfortable and been so educated!” Patients seem to appreciate the extra effort that Dolce and his staff take in making sure everything is done right. “We stand behind what we do,” says Dolce.

Dolce stays current with various medical conferences and special trainings; he’s excited about the fact that dentistry is evolving into such a big field, with many innovations. For example, instead of the old, expensive teeth whitening methods, people can get easy, affordable teeth whitening trays that take just 15 minutes to work.  Also, the taste is not as bad as the old custom-made trays that people used more commonly just a few years ago.

Dr. Vincent DolceBeing involved in local community causes is important to Dr. Dolce as well. He has sponsored a local baseball team of police officers named the Enforcers, he’s supported the Wellington breast cancer support group Your Bosom Buddies II, and he’s given back to a local Haitian church that goes on regular missions to deliver necessities to Haiti.

There are many good reasons to visit Dr. Dolce, depending on your dental care and your dental issues. Another popular service is removing metal fillings and replacing them with porcelain fillings. Porcelain fillings are white, more aesthetically pleasing and have no harmful effects. Going from a mouth full of the old metal fillings to a completely white smile can be a beautiful transformation that many patients enjoy.

So whether you’re in need of some serious dental work or you’re fine-tuning your smile or overall look, you can visit Dr. Dolce and get the results you are looking for. For more information, call Dr. Dolce at his number below or visit his website.
