The Small Business RoundTable is presenting a humorous, informative, and interactive session with Speaker, Author, Corporate Trainer, And
Reinvention Expert Peter Fogel – “The Reinvention Guy.” Peter will discuss motivation, reinventing oneself, attaining goals, and coping with reality – all sprinkled with humor. Blanca Greenstein of Morris Laing Evans Brock & Kennedy, Chtd. will be the moderator. The session takes place Thursday, September 13th from 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm at the Binks Forest Golf Club, Wellington, Florida. A mixer is scheduled at the beginning of the evening with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The presentation will begin about 6 pm.
Peter’s career started in Las Vegas, Nevada. Years later, this same career took him into Corporate America. As a comedian in the nightclubs of Las Vegas years ago, he opened for such comedy luminaries as Jimmy “J.J.” Walker, Rita Rudner, and Louis Black. He also performed on or worked for 22 shows including Married With Children, Unhappily Ever After, and Comic Strip Live plus performed on cruise ships. Peter acknowledges that he was living a full life; he was having fun and taking on the all the risks that came along with that type of career.
After turning 40 however, Peter admits he had a mid-life crisis and states, “I was successful, but yet, if you looked at my career it had more peaks and valleys than an EKG graph!” He felt burned out from the gypsy lifestyle of a performer. It was then he decided to make a drastic 180 degree change and reinvented himself into an advertising copywriter.
Using his background as an actor and writer, Peter discovered he had a knack for persuading people to buy products and he thereby became an in-demand sales writer for such multi-million dollar companies such as Vital Max Vitamins, Renaissance Health, Bio-Centric Health, Gold and Energy Report, and Agora Publishing.
Later, Peter realized he wanted to help others reach true fulfillment through personal growth, change, and reinvention – so he became an author. His first book is titled If Not Now… Then When – Stories and Strategies of People Over 40 Who Have Successfully Reinvented Themselves. His latest book is Reboot Your Career – 27 Ways to Reinvent Yourself in the Workplace (If You Still Have a Job).
Today Peter is a Reinvention Expert who teaches entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate managers, and employees how to tap into all of their available skills in order to achieve their business and life goals.
