Whole Foods Market® Wellington to host 6th Annual Back to School Bonanza with Special Performance by Patty Shukla
Saturday, Aug. 16 from 11 – 1 p.m.
Wellington, Fla. – For the sixth consecutive year, Whole Foods Market Wellington – in partnership with the Village of Wellington, PBSO, and Palm Beach Fire Rescue – will be kicking off the school year with a huge celebration of lunch box favorite foods, free ID cards for children and a performance by Patty Shukla, award winning children’s musician. The performance will begin at 11:00 AM in the café and will run until 11:30 AM. Pre-registration is requested by calling 561-904-4000.
Emergency vehicles will be in the Whole Foods Market parking lot for families to explore, while free lunch box samples will be offered around the store. The Free ID Card will be created in the back of the café (first come first served) by PBSO volunteers.
Reusable Whole Foods Market cooler lunch bags and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches will be offered in exchange for a $5 and $3 donations respectably to Elbridge Gail Elementary School to purchase school supplies for children in need. Families are encouraged to walk around the store tasting all sorts of lunch box delights. PBSO and their volunteers will be making FREE ID cards for children in the back of the café, while supplies last.
