Barcello & Limoncello Join the Supper Club

Both venues create a special one-night menu for curbside delivery

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL — (April 14, 2020) — As many restaurateurs in South Florida continue adjusting to the new normal of doing business curbside, brothers Robert and Victor Ghini, owners of Barcello and Limoncello, continue to be proactive.

This month the brothers are participating in the Supper Club, a local group that came together to help local restaurants during these uncertain times. Run by blogger Cristyle Egitto, founder of Eat Palm Beach, the Supper Club gets local restaurants in the North Palm Beach area to create a special menu for one night.

The Supper Club’s Facebook members (2500 and growing) can find the featured restaurants on the group’s Facebook page and can place orders 24 to 48 hours prior to the featured restaurant’s assigned night via phone or online. All sales go directly to the featured restaurant.

“I started Eat Palm Beach seven years ago. The local food community has become a second family to me,” said Egitto. “I saw the huge impact COVID-19 has had on the industry and felt compelled to help keep restaurants open and employees employed.” Egitto just launched the Supper Club earlier in April and thus far, has had many area restaurants join in.

Barcello will be featured on Friday, April 17. The restaurant’s “Socially Distanced Supper Club Menu” offers appetizers [Caesar Salad, Crispy Cauliflower and Roasted Brussels sprouts] along with main course selections of Veal Flank Steak, Haddock with Horseradish Crust, Chicken with Smoked Gouda and Bacon, and Rigatoni with Vegetables. Dessert options include Coconut Tres Leches Cake and Peanut Butter Cheesecake.

Limoncello will be featured on Tuesday, April 21. The special menu will include a selection of antipasti: Rollatini di Melanzane [eggplant stuffed with ricotta and fresh basil and marinara sauce), Polpette (meatballs, chef style) and Vongole Posillipo (clams with garlic, white wine and a touch of tomato). Main course options include Scaloppine di Vitello, Salmone Grigliato, Pollo Lombardia,  Vitello Parmigiana or Pollo Parmigiana. The menu also offers two salads: Insalata di Cesare and Insalata Limoncello, mixed baby greens with walnuts, gorgonzola, heirloom cherry tomato and a lemon vinaigrette. Dessert options include tiramisu and cheesecake.

Both Barcello and Limoncello offer a wine selection and will introduce their new Cocktails to Go program. Each 12-ounce bottle serves two. Barcello is offering its Hibiscus Margherita and Manhattan and Limoncello is offering its 561 Manhattan and Limoncello Martini for the Supper Club.

“We are grateful to the community, from our customers who continue to order curbside service, to people like Cristyle, who are jumping in to help restaurateurs in any way they can. We will get through this and are grateful to those who continue to support Barcello and Limoncello,” said Robert Ghini, co-owner of Barcello and Limonello.
