Book Signing Event and Launch with Denise Marsh
Denise Marsh is a “Cultural Corner” writer for AroundWellington.com. She is also an Elementary school teacher in Lake Worth, Florida. But many people do not know that she is also a writer and a poet. Writing has always been a strong catharsis for her and holds great relevance in her life.
It was just 3 ½ years ago that Denise was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Although she “won” the battle, her life was altered forever. During her journey with cancer, she wrote over 35 poems highlighting this painful yet powerful journey. Quiet is the Fire, Silent is the Flame: My so called “relationship” with cancer is the culmination of this journey. Writing the book gave her the healing she needed both spiritually, cognitively, and physically.
Please come join her on November 14th at 6:30PM for a book launch and signing at her favorite venue, Village Music and Cafe in Wellington. The book is only available on Amazon (and cannot be resold privately). Bring your copy for her to sign!
