Wellington Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Strands of holiday lights will illuminate Wellington as we “flip the switch” at the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. This year’s lighting effort continues its commitment to keep our Village green. LED light strands are used exclusively in this year’s display, amounting to an energy savings of approximately 90% over standard lights.
The ceremony takes place this Saturday, December 5th at the Wellington Amphitheater (12100 Forest Hill Boulevard). The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with the Tree Lighting ceremony, and will be followed with a concert by King Guys – “The Cool Yule Band,” playing a mix of all of your favorite holiday music.
Food Trucks will be available on site for food and beverage purchases. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Visit www.wellingtonfl.gov/events for more information.
