Vandy is the queen of recycled materials that take on new, anthropomorphic existence under s mane, diving for paper pearls s pool of sea shell debris, you will find brightly colored twists and turns, scattered jewels and repurposed treasures.
A Folk-Artist sensibility surrounds all of Vandy’s creations. Brightly colored with twists and turns, each sculpture evokes a story. Some of her forms belie the depth of her message. Other works of art are simply playful and joyous and beg to be owned by those of good cheer.
Paper Art has long been featured at the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery.
