Wellington Works to Keep Neighborhoods Beautiful

Wellington, Fla. – This summer, in an effort to keep our neighborhoods beautiful, Wellington’s Community Services department is rolling out its Trash Can Plan.

This plan, organized in part by a High School Summer Service Program student, will have staff working with volunteers to label trash cans in the White Pine, Hawthorne, Periwinkle, and Goldenrod neighborhoods. Each can in these communities will receive a label that will be tied to the SKU number already present on the receptacle. In the future, if a labeled can is left out past the allowable timeframe, Code Compliance will be able to enforce any applicable ordinances and keep the communities looking great!

For questions on the program, please call Community Services at 561-791-4796.
