The YWCA of Palm Beach County invites you to “Tea and Tales” including a traditional English tea and the secrets of “The Ladies of Palm Beach” beginning at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at The Chesterfield, Palm Beach.
Local historian James Ponce will take guests back in time by sharing anecdotes about the rich history of the early women of Palm Beach and surrounding area. In addition to Mr. Ponce’s presentation, the event will include a Chinese auction and the presentation of the YWCA’s Grace Dodge and Youth Racial Justice Awards. Chapeaux are welcomed.
Joyce McLendon, Honorary Chair, and Nancy Marshall, Chair, promise a relaxing and fun-filled afternoon.
