Events are held at 2635 State Road 7, in the Lifestyle Center and are free of charge unless otherwise noted.  Register by phone at 561.904.4000 or at the customer service desk. Refunds, credits, or transfer of classes will not be honored for no-shows or cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before event. All events are subject to change.  Classes with low registration may be cancelled.  Any classes cancelled by Whole Foods Market will be refunded. Space is limited.

Wine enthusiasts and shoppers are invited to participate in a Twitter Tasting either in the store or via Twitter. Our global wine buyers Doug Bell and Geof Ryan will taste and tweet about six of our Top 10 Summer Wines that are featured in our Specialty department and provide tasting notes about the wineries and winemakers via their Twitter feed: Twitter.com/WFMWineGuys

Mom’s Morning Escape & Whole Kid’s Club Story Time & Snack

Moms will receive a free mini-massage, coffee or tea, and muffin from the coffee bar.  Please check in with customer service and pick up your Mom’s Morning Escape Voucher, then make your way to the coffee bar for breakfast. Also don’t forget to enjoy a relaxing five minute chair massage by My Massage Corner in the café (first come first served- sign-up located next to the massage chair). 

*Whole Kids’ Club Story Time & Snack 9:30-10:30am 

Come with your little ones to enjoy a healthy snack and story in the back of the café.  Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend.

 

Block Party in Honor of Dad

Join our Healthy Eating Specialist, Cheryl, for an informative, introductory tour which runs through our entire store and features our Health Starts Here program ingredients and prepared foods.  You will learn about our Healthy Eating Principles and how to identify the most nutrient-rich foods and how to make them work for your busy lifestyle.  The tour will be followed by a live cooking demonstration in the Lifestyle Center, using recipes that utilize nutrient-dense ingredients for you to taste and enjoy.  You may want to bring a notepad!

 

Best Butcher Competition!

All are invited to watch our first local competition of Whole Foods Market Meat Cutters while they compete for a spot in our regional championship.  Meat cutters from the six closest Whole Foods Markets (Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and Wellington) will battle it out in our meat department for all to see!  Precision cutting and quickness will determine the winning butcher.  Cheering and clapping is encouraged, especially if you are rooting for Wellington’s top meat cutter Charlie!

Whole Kids Cooking Camp Featuring Health Starts Here TM  Recipes (Campers Ages 6-12)

July 18th-22nd               9:00-12:30 PM  $175.00

Do you have a budding chef in your family?  Feed their knowledge and creativity at our Whole Kids Cooking Camp this summer!  Campers will explore a different department in Whole Foods Market each day and tasting a variety of natural and organic products and ingredients.   Then, it is back to our kitchen in the Lifestyle Center where Campers will:

          Learn about kitchen safety

          Basic cooking techniques

          How to read a recipe and follow directions 

          How to measure ingredients

          How to create their very own personalized recipe box

          Try new and different foods

          Incorporating healthy ingredients

 

Campers will be eating what they have prepared each day, so leave the healthy lunch to us!  Each camper will receive a chef’s hat, apron, a graduation certificate, and recipes to take home at the end of the week.  Parents should plan to arrive by 11:30 am on Friday to enjoy the fruits of their labor.  Reservations and pre-payment required.  Simply stop by our customer service desk for the registration/payment form.  Space is limited to the first 20 registrations.
