This week Parenting Plus Magazine has endorsed The Love & Cancer Benefit Card as its preferred family discount card. The two have teamed up to provide support to the local cancer community through card sales and every day discounts and giveaway programs to South Florida families.
Love & Cancer and The Benefit Card caught the eye of Parenting Plus Magazine’s publisher, Posie Thompson. Thompson has been a respected and essential leader in the South Florida community since 1996. She maintains and family owned and operated product that exceeds expectations each and every month. Thompson puts her profound sense of child rearing trends and an informative and inspirational spin on important family topics in her monthly magazine that has always been free to the public. Thompson stated “I love the work that Love & Cancer and The Benefit Card is accomplishing in our area and I am delighted to be a part of it. It’s natural that Parenting Plus supports such a compassionate concept that will only benefit our readers.”
Launched in January of 2011, The Benefit Card has quickly become the must have discount card for Florida families. They boast every day repeat discounts to the most popular kid’s spots, restaurants and attractions. The card was developed as a fundraiser for Love & Cancer a service program developed by Erin Greaves. Greaves gives over 50% of all card sales, internet advertising and promotional revenue to provide treatment patients with connections to meal delivery, home care and transport assistance. Love & Cancer was honored as an American Cancer Society National Network Resource in 2010.”Working with Posie and Parenting Plus Magazine is such an honor. Posie and I are in sync with our goals to support families in South Florida and we have big plans for the future.” said Greaves.
The release of the June edition of Parenting Plus Magazine will promote their first joint project awarding valuable prizes donated from premier local attractions and service businesses all featured on The Benefit Card. Prizes for the Just 2 Clicks Summer Giveaway include free attraction passes, complimentary services and fun free gifts.
