The Stuart School of Music
Students and faculty will perform on piano, voice, clarinet, violin, viola and cello.

Kretzer Piano’s very first Music for the Mind Concert in 2002 featured the Stuart School of Music! This year’s concert will kick off the 13th year of the Music for the Mind Series. They are the only group from outside of Palm Beach County that participates in the series. The school has had SIX first-place Palm Beach Post Pathfinder Award winners recognized for their outstanding achievements in academic and musical accomplishments. Many of their students have been featured on the popular and celebrated WQCS/88.9-FM National Public Radio “Young Musicians Spotlight.”
A guest artist, Alex Meixner, will be featured in this concert. Mr. Meixner is a Grammy-nominated musician and accordion virtuoso who has performed throughout the United States.

About Kretzer Piano: Held on the third Tuesday of every month in the Harriet Himmel Theater at CityPlace, the Music for the Mind concerts feature musical groups from Palm Beach County. Beginning in 2002, Music for the Mind has provided 9,200 young musicians the opportunity to perform while raising $360,000 to help keep music in our schools and community.
