Jupiter, Fla. – February 16, 2023-Ireland US Experience Entertainment presents the 3rd Annual Jupiter Irish Fest on March 11 & 12 at Abacoa Towne Center in Jupiter. The public is invited to wear green and bring the entire family to celebrate Irish culture. The Jupiter Irish Fest two-day festival will feature authentic food, drink, culture, entertainment, and live music.
Dave McGovern, Festival Director and local Captain firefighter/paramedic at the Tequesta Fire Rescue, produce the two-day Jupiter Irish Fest. He arrived in the USA from Dublin in 2001 and resides in Jupiter with his family. “Erin, go Bragh,” the luck of the Irish will be in Abacoa, and I invite the community to come and experience the Irish culture and share in our traditions. This weekend will be filled with family fun, great food, drinks, music, dancing, our famous costume contests, and supporting three charities with someone winning an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Ireland”.
Entertainment:
The Black Thorne Pipe Band and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Honor Guard will help us celebrate all weekend. The Jupiter Irish Fest entertainment on the Slane Castle Stage will feature the Rogue Theory Band, Tracy Sands, Gaelic Brew, Killbillies, Niamh Agus Daithi, Tony Cunningham, Blessed, and the Tir Na Greine Irish Dancers. There will also be a Hurling demonstration for adults and kids to try by the Orlando GAA and an Irish Costume Contest with prizes for adults and children. Celebrate the Irish by sampling traditional Irish cuisine from renowned Irish restaurant The Bistro and other vendors serving up authentic dishes such as corned beef sandwiches, corned beef and cabbage, fish & chips, Sheppard’s pie, Irish sausage sandwiches, corned beef Reuben flatbreads, and more!
There are many ways to get a taste of Ireland. The Temple Bar will be a full-service bar serving all your favorite mixed drinks, wine, and beer, including Guinness, Harp, Hop House, & Smithwick’s! In the Irish Whiskey Tasting Tent, you can get a flight of three types of fine Irish Whiskey for $25, including one admission ticket and a commemorative shirt. Pull your own pint of a 20-ounce Guinness glass for $25, including the price of one admission, a commemorative shirt, and the thrill of learning how to pull your own pint with the help of our Irish Leprechaun.

This year, the Irish National Rugby team will be playing the Scottish National Ruby team on Sunday, March 12, at 11 am, and the game will be aired on a large screen at the festival. We encourage people to wear their favorite team colors. Viewing is included with admission to the festival. In addition, on stage this year, First responders will be recognized, as well as a local Veteran from Airforce Mark Byers, nurse Karen Vinson, and doctor-Dr. Riddhi Bowry from Jupiter Medical Center, teacher Ben Kenerson of Jupiter High School, Palm Beach Gardens Firefighter-Captain Brian Wolnewitz, and Jupiter Police Officer-Officer Jon Gentile will be honored from northern Palm Beach County including the local American football team from the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association, the Mustangs.
Charity:
Ireland U.S. Experience will be raffling off a trip for two to Ireland. Proceeds benefit the Southeast Florida Honor Flight, a local organization that flies local WWII, Korean & Vietnam War veterans to Washington, DC, to visit the memorials built to honor their service and sacrifices. Proceeds from a 50/50 cash raffle will benefit the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund. Wounded Veterans Relief Fund exists to provide emergency financial support to qualified disabled veterans living in Florida. Proceeds from an additional raffle will benefit Firefighters to the Rescue, help families of Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMS providers, and others during times of need, and Firefighters on a Mission to help firefighters’ families with muscular dystrophy. The free trip will be drawn Sunday evening.
Ticket Prices: $5 General Admission, Children 12 and Under free when accompanied by an adult. Whiskey Tasting (flight of three): $25; Pull Your Own Pint: $25; An Irish Cottage will include seating and a table for eight, a 10×10 tent, general admission, and cocktail service for the day $500 Saturday and $300 Sunday, and VIP Stage pods are available for $100 and include four seats and table close to the stage, and cocktail service for the day.
