BOCA RATON, Florida, July __, 2017 – Lynn University and Producer Jan McArt, director of theatre arts program development, today announced that both season subscriptions and individual show tickets are available for the popular Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn Theatre Series.
“The Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn Theatre Series will feature seven amazing shows this year that will delight entertainment fans of all ages,” says McArt. “Anyone who loves beautiful music, from Elvis to Streisand, from Benise to Broadway to boogie-woogie, all brilliantly performed by extraordinary talents should plan to attend these knock-out productions.”
She adds, “For more than three decades, I have strived to present the Boca Raton community and all of South Florida with first class entertainment, and I believe this may be the most exciting season yet. We hope to meet new subscribers and make new friends here in the Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center at Lynn University.”
Season subscriptions are now available at a 25 percent discount – only $288 for orchestra seats (regularly $385) and $262 for mezzanine seating (usually $350). Individual show tickets for the Live at Lynn Theatre Series are $70 for box, $55 for orchestra and $50 for mezzanine.

Celebration on Ice

This magical winter wonderland combines the beauty and athleticism of figure skating with the wonder and excitement of a theatrical production. This variety ice show features dazzling costumes, high-energy music and world-class skating.

Benise
Soulful Spanish Nights
· Saturday: 7:30 p.m.

Backed by a full stage of musicians and elaborately choreographed dancers, guitar virtuoso Benise (pronounced Buh-NEE-say) captures world music at its best: Spanish flamenco, Cuban salsa, Brazilian samba, Argentine tango, African drumming, Parisian waltz and Indian Bollywood mixed with a little Led Zeppelin and AC/DC.

Ann Hampton Callaway
The Streisand Songbook

Known for her divine voice, depth of emotion and piano virtuosity, Callaway performs songs from five decades of Barbra Streisand’s multifaceted career, including “The Way We Were,” “Don’t Rain on My Parade” and “Cry Me a River.”

In The Mood
America’s favorite big band musical

More than a concert, In The Mood presents a retro 1940s musical back for its 20th season tour. Featuring singers and dancers backed by the sensational String of Pearls big band orchestra, the costumes, music and arrangements are as authentic as it gets.

A perfect evening with Erich Bergen:
The star of the CBS hit show Madame Secretary

· Sunday: 4 p.m.
The motion picture and TV star Erich Bergen, is perhaps best known for his award-winning portrayal of Bob Gaudio in Clint Eastwood’s film Jersey Boys. Bergen channels his heroes: Peter Allen, Barry Manilow, Elton John and Billy Joel. With his dry wit and smooth vocals, the stage, screen and TV star delivers what he calls “a party.”
