Events are held at 2635 State Road 7, in the Lifestyle Center and are free of charge unless otherwise noted.  Register by phone at 561.904.4000 or at the customer service desk. Refunds, credits, or transfer of classes will not be honored for no-shows or cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before event. All events are subject to change.  Classes with low registration may be cancelled.  Any classes cancelled by Whole Foods Market will be refunded. Space is limited.

Whole Planet Foundation

2011 Prosperity Campaign

Want to make a difference in the world but do not know where to start?  In the months of February and March, Whole Foods Market cashiers will be taking register donations for the Whole Planet Foundation.  100% of the donations generated will go directly to the micro-lending programs in 25 countries around the world.  Help us reach our 2011 goal of $2.5 million and be a part of this global solution to eradicate poverty.  Stay tuned for special in store events and for more information on the Whole Planet Foundation visit .

 

Sundaes on Sunday 

Enjoy all natural ice cream sundaes every Sunday in March, from 1:00-4:00pm for a $5 donation to the Whole Planet Foundation!  You will get to choose from any of our delicious toppings to make your ideal sundae!  Just look for the ice cream table in the Prepared Foods Department.

 

Spin to Win Wheel-a-thon

 Every Monday through Friday in March, customers who donate $10 or more to the Whole Planet Foundation, will have the opportunity to spin our prize wheel!  Participants must bring their receipt to the customer service desk to spin. Prizes will vary every week.  One spin per every $10 donated Monday through Friday Only.  No refunds or exchanges of prize items.

 

Donate Your Dime 

Customers who bring their own shopping bags receive a 10 cent refund per bag or can choose to donate the refund to one of two charities; the local Project Lifesaver or the Whole Planet Foundation.  Please ask a cashier for details on the charities or visit:  and

Spring Break Kids Cooking Camp

Monday March 14th through Friday March 18th

9:00am- 12:00pm $165/Person, Ages 6 – 16 years old
Are you up for a great food adventure? If so come join us for a fun fill week of cooking around the world. We will great recipes from Britain, Italy, Indian and Mexico. Block Party: Whole Planet Foundation Flavors and Wheel-a-thon

Tuesday, March 8th   5:30-7:00pm, Free

Experience a new way to shop by enjoying free samples around the store and tasting new flavors.  For this special block party each department will have an international dish representing a country that benefits from the Whole Planet Foundation and you vote for your favorite dish!  Ballots will be given out at the Produce Station and collected at any open register.  Anyone that donates $10 or more to the Whole Planet Foundation will get a chance to spin our prize wheel! (Prizes will vary).  Participants must bring their receipt to customer service for their spin.  No registration necessary.

 

Yoga for Kids by Moksha Yoga Studio, Ages 4-9 yrs. old

Join Moksha Yoga Studio for a fun filled yoga class for kids!  Your child will participate in playful yoga movements that are fun and easy.  Classes will improve children’s strength, flexibility, and coordination using traditional and animal yoga poses.  Yoga mats will be provided but feel free to bring your own.  Pre-registration Required with Customer Service.

 

Deliciously Raw with Renate

Block Party: Salute to Project Lifesaver

Tuesday, March 22nd 5:30-7:30pm

Enjoy a night of all natural Italian Cuisine around the store!  Each department around the store will have different Italian dishes for you to sample for free or enjoy a full meal with a wine and beer tasting for a $15 donation to Project Lifesaver.  ($10 Donation/Plate & $5 Donation/Wine and Beer Tasting).  Plates and tasting cups will be provided for all that donate at the registration table in the Produce Department.  A silent auction and entertainment will be provided for all in the café.  100% of the proceeds will benefit Project Lifesaver and their mission to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, autism, and other related conditions or disorders. Flavors of the World Demonstration Dinner

Join us in our Lifestyle Center for our monthly series Dinner with a Gourmet Chef as master chef Chris Paul, of Wild Orchids Fusion, as he creates a multi-course meal using Whole Foods Market’s all natural ingredients and expertly paired wines from our Specialty Department.  Come with friends, or make new ones, for this interactive evening of food, wine and fun.  Space is limited to the first 22 reservations.

 

Mom’s Morning Escape

Moms will receive a free mini-massage, coffee or tea, and muffin from the coffee bar.  Please check in with customer service and pick up your Mom’s Morning Escape Voucher, then make your way to the coffee bar for breakfast. Also don’t forget to enjoy a relaxing five minute chair massage by My Massage Corner in the café (first come first served). 

 

Children’s Clothing and Toy Sale Benefitting the Whole Planet Foundation

Friday, March 25th 9:00-11:00am

During Mom’s Morning Escape there will be a NEW product only children’s clothing sale where 100% of the proceeds will go to the Whole Planet Foundation.  All products will be sold for at least 50% off their retail price.  Final Sales Only, No Returns Permitted.  Products will range from onesies to crocks.

 

Health Starts Here Tour and Demonstration

Join our Healthy Eating Specialist for an informative, introductory tour of our Health Starts Here program.  You will learn about our Healthy Eating Principles and how to identify the most nutrient rich foods.  The tour will be followed by a cooking demonstration in the Lifestyle Center, which will utilize nutrient dense ingredients for you to taste.

 

Bingo Benefit & Barbecue for the Whole Planet Foundation
