Essential community education sessions include Preventing Online & Phone Scams on March 12 and The Parkinson’s Foundation Hospital Safety on April 9
Palm Beach Gardens, FL – (February 24, 2025) – The Mind, Music, and Movement Foundation for Neurological Disorders, Inc. (M3F) continues its winter/spring Coffee Talk series with two upcoming free and informative sessions designed to empower individuals and caregivers with essential knowledge on safety and well-being. These Coffee Talks are free, but registration is required at m3f.org/events.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Tiffany DiPanni, founder of Social Savvy Seniors, will lead “Preventing Online and Phone Scams” at Tropical Sands Christian Church in Palm Beach Gardens. With scammers increasingly targeting older adults through deceptive phone calls, emails, and online schemes, this session will equip attendees with the tools to recognize scams, protect themselves from fraud, and take action if they suspect fraudulent activity.

Then, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Jennifer De Gruccio from the Parkinson’s Foundation will present “The Parkinson’s Foundation Hospital Safety” at Tropical Sands Christian Church. Hospital visits can be overwhelming for Parkinson’s patients and their families, and this session will cover crucial information on advocating for proper medication management, effective communication with healthcare providers, and strategies to ensure the best possible care.

“Our Coffee Talk series equip individuals and caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate life with neurodegenerative diseases,” said Beth Elgort, Founder and President of M3F. “These upcoming fraud prevention and hospital safety sessions will provide invaluable information to help our community stay protected and informed.”
