WINTERFEST EVENT TO ANNOUNCE 1st ANNUAL “WELLINGTON HERO”
The Wellington Chamber of Commerce have become great supporters of One Wellington and the “Wellington Hero” initiative. The Chamber have decided to unveil the “Wellington Hero” on the evening of Saturday, December 1 during the WinterFest Event that will be held at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. It is time we begin to celebrate and recognize great leaders in our Wellington Community and give them the recognition they deserve!
How to Nominate a “Wellington Hero”
Each community has that one special individual that goes above and beyond their call of duty as a local citizen. Whether they are actively involved in a charitable organization, helping a group or just touching the lives of people around them; they deserve to be recognized.
If you know of someone that is worthy of this title and the recognition associated with it, we invite you to nominate them and explain the impact that they have had in our community. All nominations must be submitted by November 15th, 2012 via the “Nominate a Hero” link on the Home Page.
