2014 South Florida Fair Discount Admission and Ride Tickets On Sale Beginning Nov. 16

West Palm Beach, Fla. — Those looking to save money on the 2014 South Florida Fair’s admission and midway rides can save up to 30 percent compared to the regular prices. Publix stores throughout Palm Beach County will begin selling the Fair’s advance discount tickets on Nov. 16. Guests also will get an additional bonus. When they use their advance discount admission ticket on the Fair’s opening day, they will receive one free admission ticket to return another day, compliments of Publix. On Nov. 16, the Fair also will announce its entertainment lineup.
The 102nd annual South Florida Fair’s theme is “New York City: Be a part of it!” and will be held Jan. 17-Feb. 2, 2014 in West Palm Beach. Fair visitors will be welcomed to the sights and sounds of Manhattan’s Times Square when they enter the main gates. Fair goers will see a number of Big Apple attractions in the Fair’s 80,000 square foot featured exposition hall, including the building of a Statue of Liberty sculpture using more than 200 tons of sand and an impressive replica of the Empire State Building, which will be constructed out of food cans. For Broadway show fans, a first-class ice skating show will be held three times daily as the professional skaters perform to the music of Broadway’s biggest hits. Other attractions will be announced in the weeks to come.

An advance purchase saves up to 30 percent off gate prices, which go into effect January 16. The cost of an advance adult admission, 12 and older, is $10 and $15 at the gate. An advance child’s admission is $5 and $8 at the gate (5 and younger are free), and an advance senior admission, 60 and older, is $7 and $9 at the gate.
