Walk to Cure Arthritis, Saturday, November 8 at John Prince Park
WHAT: The Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s signature event that raises funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation’s number one cause of disability. This event raised funds for research, health education and government advocacy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
WHEN: At 8:45 on Saturday, November 8, media are invited to meet Arthritis Foundation spokespeople at the START line of the Walk to Cure Arthritis to conduct interviews or stage pre-event photos.
WHERE: John Prince Park, Center Drive Pavilion, 4759 S. Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, FL
WHY: The prevalence of arthritis or chronic joint symptoms is surging, affecting 4 million Floridians, and approximately 53 million Americans. The Walk to Cure Arthritis raises funds and awareness to help prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases.
